At My Place Cafe

After 5 days of Arizona Trip (Grand Canyon,Sedona, Antelope Canyon). We're craving for Filipino food and we found this gem in Chandler, Arizona 😀😀😀. Home cooked meals, we enjoyed the Crispy Pata, Pork Sisig and Pork Sinigang😋😋😋 The owner was pleasant and accommodating. The place is clean and cozy. Food prices are affordable. Thank you!

I’ve been to almost all of the Filipino restaurants in the valley and this one was by far my favorite! When we walked in everyone was so incredibly kind and joyful to greet us. One of the owners reminded me of my Lola, she came to our table twice and laughed at how fast we were eating, telling us to slow down🤣 and also make sure we eat all our food🫶 We left with our plates fully cleaned! They have all our favorite dishes and desserts. Thank you so much for such a welcoming and wonderful atmosphere!

A lot of our friends were recommending this place to eat. We ordered Pork sisig and Pansit and they were just okay. What makes my rating 1 aside from the food is the service. When I ordered our food, the cashier (Ji***) didnt give my number, utensils, and water so I have to ask her when I realized that the people after me was getting those stuff. After getting our food, I tried to stand at front of the Cashier and no one is there, the cashier saw me but just ignored my request for a smaller plate. In my mind, okay maybe they are just really busy. So I have to eat on the food's plate directly. When I was about to ask for a togo container, I was standing at front of the Cashier again and the cashier lady again ignored me after accomodating the person before me and shouted "Okay, I'm leaving!". She just ignored us like she didnt see anyone (there is also one lady waiting for her and she also ignored) then no one stands again on the Cashier.. Sorry but I'm not returning to your restaurant. She was just rude.

Great place!! My family was on vacation in Arizona from NY and since we are Filipino, we were looking for a Filipino place to eat. While we were in Page, AZ, we met some Filipinos who live there and they recommended we go to eat At My Place Cafe when we go back to Phoenix. We are so glad we went!! Hands down the best Filipino food I’ve eaten in America! We have a lot of Filipino restaurants in New York, but this place tops them all! So much attention and care goes into the meals. They aren’t cheap at all with how they prepare the food. They really do keep it as authentic as possible, don’t skimp on the ingredients or take shortcuts (like other Filipino restaurants I’ve been to do) - it’s really great quality. We ordered Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata, Pancit Bihon, Ube Halaya Cheesecake and the Biko. Highly recommend them all, especially the Kare-Kare. That’s really the best Kare-Kare I’ve had and I’ve eaten Kare-Kare all my life. To top off the great cooking, the owner Lisa is also super nice and pleasant. Really cares for the restaurant and the food prepared like she is cooking for her own family. In fact, it turns out they were closing when we walked in and she so nicely decided to just cook for us even off hours since we walked in. Such a uniquely nice gesture. I only have positives to say about the experience.

Meh. Dined in on a Friday at 10:30 am. Some of the breakfast “all day” menu was not available. My guest and I ordered the Tocilog. There was no description on the menu, but the friendly host described the dish as chicken, garlic rice and an egg done to order. Several diners came in after us and were all served meals before us. Eventually the hostess came over and said our food would be done soon (not sure what the hold up was). Shortly thereafter, two men came into the restaurant and were served and pampered without placing an order. It appeared to be some kind of business transaction. Our food was reasonably tasty, but the missing menu items and lack of prioritization of orders was a bit off putting.
